I know, I know, it’s been a little while… but things tend to slow down a little on the web during the summer as real life adventures take over!

Anyhow, summertime idleness (when possible) is the perfect time to read! I’ve just finished Yann Martel’s Life of Pi, which I can only recommend to all of you! I read it in the original English, but it has also been translated into French (by the authors’ parents, believe it or not).
Yann Martel tells the story of Pi, a sixteen year old Indian boy whose real name is Piscine Molitor Patel, Pi for short, the son of a Pondicherry zookeeper who survives a shipwreck, stranded for 227 days on a lifeboat with a zebra, a hyena, an orang utang and a tiger called Richard Parker on board.
A truly fascinatingly wonderful read!
